As The youtube project is in hiatus until I upgrade my PCU, I decided I could involve myself in much more engaging and rewarding project for the server: Giving it a soundtrack! Now I am going to make some tracks regardless of if it's possible. But if it is possible would anyone be interested in that idea? I would provide all tracks free of charge and I could output them to whatever format you want. Even MIDI files in case anyone else has music knowledge and wanted to build on what I have. (Albeit only keyboard bits could be in MIDI). Anyway does anyone like this idea? Dren, what do you think? Would it be possible/would you be interested? Note: Unlike Youtube recording this is something I do regularily and could even use some old tracks I already made awhile ago. So I would have tangible and frequent results unlike youtube recording which was just miserably hard on my computer. Translation: I'll actually do it this time

I'm not sure if it's what you meant, but if you wanted them to play in the background and stuff ingame, you could convert the music to .ogg files and put them in a resource pack. There was a mod that did that much more effectively and played in specific environments and stuff, but it hasn't been updated

Well I don't mean editing my own music files obviously, it wouldn't benefit anyone :/ But if the modpack included my custom .ogg files then maybe somehow we could get them to play via command block in certain areas. I still don't know if that would be possible though.

So, it seems there are some mods that could be useful for this: BiomeMusic Mod
Modular Music ModI haven't personally playtested them, so I don't know exactly how the work, or how well.
